NAPALM DEATH Bassist: 'Busy Times Ahead'

March 12, 2007

NAPALM DEATH bassist Shane Embury has issued the following update:

"Busy times ahead indeed. Finally started working on a project with Mick Kenney of ANAAL NATHRAKH last week, which is sounding pretty insane and will be out on the Feto Records label towards the end of the year.

"Had a great rehearsal with some of the guys from BRUJERIA on Saturday in preparation for our forthcoming London show and Italian dates, and right now have the man himself — Dan Lilker — here at my house for a few days after his recent tour with BRUTAL TRUTH as we start writing and preparing songs for the third VENOMOUS CONCEPT album!

"Dan will be taking over the bass guitar duties while I will be steping into the guitarist position. Buzzo [MELVINS/FANTOMAS guitarist Buzz Osborne] will still be guesting from time to time and as his schedule sees fit. Bizzarely enough i have to speak with mad metal producer Russ Russell tommorow as he will be mixing the finally recorded second VENOMOUS CONCEPT album which will be out on Feto also this coming summer."
